Qué es el Arco Real? (1)
El Real Arco es una parte fundamental en la formación del Maestro Masón. Incluso la Gran Logia de Inglaterra a raíz de la unificación en 1813 cita que: "La Antigua Francmasonería Pura, se compone de tres grados, el grado de Aprendiz, Compañero, y Maestro Masón, además de la Orden Suprema del Santo Real Arco". Entonces surge la pregunta ¿Por qué es tan importante el Real Arco para la masonería, incluso llegando a situarlo como anexo a los 3 grados fundamentales? La respuesta es fácil, el Real Arco es el complemento para el grado de Maestro.

What is the Royal Arch? (1)

The Royal Arch is a fundamental part of the formation of the Master Mason. Even the Grand Lodge of England following unification in 1813 quotes that: "The Ancient Pure Freemasonry, is composed of three degrees, the degree of Apprentice, Companion, and Master Mason, in addition to the Supreme Order of the Holy Royal Arch." Then the question arises: Why is the Royal Arch so important for Freemasonry, even reaching it as an annex to the 3 fundamental degrees? The answer is easy, the Royal Arch is the complement to the Master degree.

Pax Mundi Chapter was founded on 30 October 2018. Eight Companions had previously affiliated with Unity Chapter No. 23 on 28 May 2018. This group consisted of five Companions from Gibraltar, all members of Trafalgar Lodge No. 168 (GLE), together with three Companions from various Lodges in the Málaga area who had been exalted into the SGCE.

A further four Brethren from Trafalgar Lodge were exalted into Gemini Chapter on 15 September 2018. Since only E.Comp. Keith Sheriff had been installed as a Principal, E.Comp. David Mantle and E.Comp. Giles Crawford joined the petitioners to serve as Second Principal and Third Principal respectively.

The consecration meeting for Pax Mundi Chapter took place at the Tamisa Golf Hotel, Mijas Costa, Málaga. The Chapter was consecrated by M.E.Comp. Óscar de Alfonso Ortega, M.E. First Grand Principal, assisted by M.E.Comp. Paul Wayne Shingler and E.Comp. Manuel Escamilla.

Pax Mundi Chapter No. 42 is based in the Campo de Gibraltar and is attached to Trafalgar Lodge No. 168.

El Capítulo Pax Mundi se fundó el 30 de octubre de 2018. Ocho Compañeros se habían afiliado previamente al Capítulo Unity n.º 23 el 28 de mayo de 2018. Este grupo estaba formado por cinco Compañeros de Gibraltar, todos ellos miembros de la Logia Trafalgar n.º 168 (GLE), junto con tres Compañeros de diversas logias de la zona de Málaga que habían sido exaltados en la SGCE.

Otros cuatro hermanos de la Logia Trafalgar fueron exaltados al Capítulo Gemini el 15 de septiembre de 2018. Dado que solo el Muy Venerable Keith Sheriff había sido instalado como Principal, el Muy Venerable David Mantle y el Muy Venerable Giles Crawford se unieron a los solicitantes para servir como Segundo Principal y Tercer Principal, respectivamente.

La reunión de consagración del Capítulo Pax Mundi tuvo lugar en el Hotel Tamisa Golf, en Mijas Costa, Málaga. El Capítulo fue consagrado por el Muy Ilustre Compáster Óscar de Alfonso Ortega, Muy Ilustre Primer Gran Principal, asistido por el Muy Ilustre Compáster Paul Wayne Shingler y el Muy Ilustre Compáster Manuel Escamilla.

La Logia Pax Mundi n.º 42 tiene su sede en el Campo de Gibraltar y está adscrita a la Logia Trafalgar n.º 168.
